Upccell allows contacts who have US mobile numbers to send campaigns and conversations. We are unable to accept non-US numbers, landlines, or VoIP numbers.
Non-US numbers
A Non-US number refers to a phone number that is not assigned within the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), which includes the United States, Canada, and several other countries and territories. Non-US numbers may be assigned to mobile or landline phones and may include various country codes, area codes, and subscriber numbers depending on the location of the phone. Examples of Non-US numbers include phone numbers from countries such as the United Kingdom (+44), Japan (+81), Australia (+61), and many others.
Landline numbers
A landline number refers to a phone number that is assigned to a telephone line that uses a physical, wired connection to a local telephone company's switching network. Landline numbers are typically associated with homes, businesses, and other fixed locations, and are also known as fixed-line or plain old telephone service (POTS) numbers. Landline numbers can be used to make and receive voice calls, and may also support features such as call waiting, caller ID, and voicemail. In contrast to mobile phone numbers, landline numbers are not associated with a mobile device and do not require a wireless connection to operate.
VoIP numbers
A VoIP number, or Voice over Internet Protocol number, is a phone number that is assigned to a user or device that utilizes internet-based calling technology to transmit voice communications. VoIP technology converts analog voice signals into digital data that can be transmitted over the internet, allowing users to make and receive voice calls using a variety of devices, including computers, smartphones, and specialized VoIP phones. VoIP numbers can be assigned to both individual users and businesses, and may include features such as call forwarding, voicemail, and video calling. In contrast to traditional landline or mobile phone numbers, VoIP numbers are not associated with a physical location or fixed line, and can be used to make and receive calls from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
