What is UTM tracking?
UTM tracking is a method of adding special codes (UTM parameters) to the end of your product URLs. These codes, called UTM parameters, help you track where your website traffic originating from your Upccell campaigns is coming from.
Upccell uses two default UTM parameters:
- utm_source is set to “Upccell.”
- utm_medium is set to “SMS.”
These defaults remain static for all catalog products, though you can toggle these parameters on or off for individual catalogs. You can also add custom values to your product URLs, allowing you to set unique UTM parameters for each product and gain deeper insights into your marketing performance.
